Connecting Your Life to Your Home
My mission is to improve the quality of life for the elderly, vulnerable and disabled by using connected technology while also giving individuals their independence back.
I’ll enable individuals to do certain tasks for themselves that they could not possibly do before safely and to be able to do it without the risk of injuries. This will help people with little or no mobility to live a better quality of life instead of struggling to live.
I will use connected care technology & voice aided devices that will significantly improve quality of life for people with little or no mobility due to health conditions. This will give them so much independence back which will therefore improve their own wellbeing.
It’s about enabling people to live well, instead of struggling to live and get by.
I offer professional bespoke assistive smart care technology to the needs of our clients. I will provide a safer environment for our clients to live in which best match their needs.
I endeavour to always sit down with you and assess your needs to find the best solution for you or your loved ones. I will consider tasks that you want to be able to do but unfortunately cannot complete safely due too poor mobility or health. I'll consider family worries to create a unique solution that is perfect for all.
Please don't hesitate to contact myself Stephen Pursey, founder of Smart Alliance 2019 for any questions at all. I will be willing to help wherever possible.
While working for an Ambulance Service, one issue I have seen time after time at work is that elderly people have been laying on the floor for a day or 2 when all they've tried to do is a simple task like trying to get warm by turning the heating on or even just turning a light on/off. This shouldn’t be an issue for someone, I felt bad and I felt helpless, I can never just leave an issue, so I knew I had to do something.
I knew I needed to change this!
Think how much effort it is for us to get up at night and turn a light off once you are already comfy. Imagine how tough it is for people that can hardly walk, or they’re in a lot of pain because of illnesses or have lost a limb.
Other daily issues they struggle with is turning the heating on/off, locking the front door at night, opening/closing a window and doors.
They can now do this on their own, independently with just their own voice, eye cam or remote. These daily tasks should not be a problem for someone with a disability.
So I don't understand why they're not using this technology to give back their independence which will then lead on to help improve their own wellbeing and welfare.
Smart Alliance will take pressure off the Ambulance Service, Police, A&E departments, hospital wards, rehabilitation hospitals, carers and also family members.
My services, voice aided tech will allow carers to focus on the more important things like spending time with the patient/service user and enable them to have a cuppa and a chin wag instead of having to do chores like make sure the lights are off, heating is on and doors are locked, as we know time is very limited. I will enable individuals to do it for themselves with just the use of their voice.
Some people are fortunate and recover enough to return home. However, some have a fall and don’t recover for certain reasons and unfortunately don’t return to their own home! They’re either too ill to recover and in the extreme cases which in not rare, they pass away. This seems drastic, however this is the reality!
Or in other cases they need to then go into a care home (which costs someone) to get looked after or a rehabilitation hospital. From my line of work, I have seen this to be very stressful for the individual as they have gone from living independently all there life to now having to rely on others.
